Our Approach
Our approach to chaplaincy is grounded in Christian faith and guided by a simple principle: care for people well.
We serve individuals with dignity and respect regardless of their beliefs or background. Prayer, Scripture, and spiritual conversations are available when desired, but never forced.
Our role isn't to pressure people toward faith. It's to be genuinely present, build trust, provide meaningful support, and remain authentic about the foundation that guides our own work.
Founder
Andre Wood is the founder of AW Development Group and a licensed chaplain through the International Federation of Chaplains (IFOC).
Andre's experience spans corporate leadership, ministry, mentoring, and chaplaincy, along with an earlier career in security where he worked directly with professional athletes. Across each of those environments, one thing has remained consistent: his ability to build trust, develop relationships, and help people navigate growth, leadership, and real-life challenges.
His Christian faith is foundational to how he lives and serves, shaping a practical and relational approach that meets people where they are. Today, Andre brings those experiences together through AW Development Group, serving individuals and organizations through workplace chaplaincy, personal development, leadership, and a growing focus on sports team chaplaincy.
